Bloom the way you like to open. Show up the way that feels good to you. Give the world the gift of you, as you are. However you do it, remember to nurture yourself first. When you bloom as you are, you encourage others around you to do the same.
With this piece, I wanted to create a floral pattern but with unconventional floral colours. I wanted to emphasize that you can bloom without following the rules (i.e. give floral impressions without floral colours in this case). This also happens to be one of my favourite colours.

Archival, acid free, cotton and fir wood, titanium acrylic gesso primed (conforms to ASTM D-4236)
10" x 20" (25.4cm x 50.8cm) - stretched and back stapled to 0.63 inch (1.6cm) kiln dried wooden frame
