Complex moods. Layered blues. Rage and sadness. Dark and light. And some tinsel for agreeability.
I was feeling very moody this day. I wanted to play with more layered blues and demonstrate depth and restlessness, in addition to the moodiness. The gold felt like an appropriate addition to reflect how we often have to dress up our emotions to be palatable to people around us. In response to 'how are you', we are expected to say 'great, thanks!', no matter how NOT great we actually feel.
