A longing for a home I haven't arrived at yet but remember, as if from a dream, or another life. A yearning for the soft haven at the end of this difficult path.
It is a lonely journey to go deep within but one worth the hardships.
Home awaits.
This was a hard moment. I remember feeling grey in my body, smoky in my heart, and incredibly alone. I was processing accepting that no one can ever really fully understand me and that that is okay, as long as I can. I knew I couldn't articulate this feeling with just words. I did, however, attempt to articulate it on a canvas.
